What part will you play?

  • In your new position you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the ISO22301 certified BCM system, build resilience and identify potential threats & impacts to the organisation
  • You will ensure the integration with Corporate Business Continuity and risk management mandates
  • To maintain effective crisis management procedures including the validation of plans will be also part of your tasks
  • Within your new role you act as focal point of co-ordination for the organisation during Business Continuity/Crisis Management invocation
  • You will work with the key contacts to review and update the business continuity documentation and validate through awareness, test and exercice
  • Helping to identify potential threats and the impacts to IT service operations that could compromise the organisation’s resilience.
  • Determine viable Business Continuity, resilience and recovery strategy options focusing on digitalization and cloud-based technologies will be also your assignment
  • Furthermore, you will support the IT service teams to undertake, document and maintain Business Impact Analysis
  • You will assist on disaster recovery testing, ensuring existing business continuity and disaster recovery procedures remain fit for purpose
  • Additionally, you will develop and implement awareness and training for the employees in relation to the business continuity. This includes facilitating and issuing meaningful training and developing subject matter communications to ensure employees are familiar with their roles and responsibilities with regards to these topics
  • You will debrief validation activities and incident responses to ensure notable practice and lessons identified are captured, recommendations are made and implemented, ensuring continuous improvement
  • Representing the organisation to customers, suppliers, Siemens PLC and industry bodies on matters relating to business continuity will also be your new function

We are looking for a driven, focused individual who is willing to learn and has an excellent eye for detail.

  • The base is your Master in Information Technology or a similar qualification paired with long-term experience in IT-consultancy
  • You posses a understanding of the Business Continuity Institutes Good Practice Guidelines
  • In addition, you have knowledge of IT technology and BCM concepts, IT service life cycles and ITSM processes
  • Furthermore, you have a strong network within Corporate IT and Business IT
  • You demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication capabilities with the ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organisation
  • You impress with analytic and excellent presentation skills in English to communicate Business Continuity and Resilience related information to key stakeholders
  • It is appreciated about you that you are self-motivated, target oriented and able to work with minimal supervision whilst building value and meeting targets
  • You will be a fantastic relationship builder and have strong influencing skills
  • You will thrive in a multi-tasking environment, be agile and can adjust priorities
