We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Principal Consultant (m/f/d) to join our Legal and Safeguarding Consulting practice area and support us on a broad range of resilience projects of different scope and complexity. You will review, design, implement and maintain resilience programs in Operating Entities and facilitate the handling of operational risks in various domains/ safeguarding functions such as Business Continuity Management.

Key responsibilities / You will get to:

  • Complete all assignments under the guidance of an Engagement Manager, including all project deadlines and deliverables, troubleshooting and problem resolution, conflict management, client and stakeholder management and all other relevant aspects of the assignments.
  • Analyze customer needs and develop innovative concepts to best serve them.
  • Contribute to pitches under the guidance of an Engagement Manager.
  • Provide support to existing clients while ensuring effective and efficient key account management.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the assigned tasks until completion.
  • Discuss with the Engagement Manager ideas of possible future client needs that may lead to projects.
  • General contribution to Allianz Consulting
  • Ensure adequate development of team members via coaching, mentoring, personal development and training.

Key requirements / What we hope you bring:

  • University degree or equivalent experience.
  • From 5-8 years of experience in Business Continuity Management (BCM), Disaster Recovery Planning, Operational Risk Management and/or Resilience.  
  • Knowledge of insurance industry, financial services or consulting methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • International work experience (min. 12 months) and prior leadership experience.
  • Great communication skills to communicate with a broad range of audiences and seniority levels in a very international set up and excellent command in English (other languages are a plus).
  • Problem solving mindset and a pronounced capacity for analytical thinking.
  • PowerPoint and Excel skills (can perform complex functions).

Preferred requirements / What we would like you bring:

  • Experience in conducting BIAs, crisis management exercises, managing IT system continuity, incidents monitoring, recovery plans design and execution.
  • Relevant experience in project management, change management, business transformation or initiative development and implementation.
  • Experience with internal or external clients (consulting).
