The Product Line & Future Programs department at OHB System AG in Bremen is looking for a
Senior Satellite Serial Production Manager (m/f/d)

OHB System AG as one of the European Large Scale System Integrators and Prime for complete Satellite solutions, is building also with a focus on European activities a strong presence in serial satellite manufacturing especially with a focus on constellations. Production concepts and facilities exists. Now it is the time to further detail the concepts and to start preparing the production facilities for future large scale production.
Your Tasks

Support the Telecom business line in establishing a serial production line for satellites
From existing concepts further detail the production line layout
Understand and identify the required verification and test needs, further detail the integration of test facilities/ stations into the production line concept
Understand and update the floor plan
Define first steps towards implementing an OHB serial production facility including identification of required investments

Your Qualifications

Master in engineering, physics or aerospace or production engineering or equivalent qualification
Knowledge in digitalization of production (industry 4.0)
Ideally background in serial production and planning of production lines
Ideally additional knowledge in production logistics
Ideally knowledge in Kanban and/or Six Sigma
Strong self-motivation
Very good communication skills and ability to work in a team
Working level proficiency in written and spoken English
