Your mission

We are on the lookout for an exceptional Head of Technology Partnerships, someone who embodies strategic acumen and an analytical mindset, possesses innate project management expertise and has an instinct for innovation. This pivotal position involves close collaboration with senior management to craft and implement collaboration strategies and projects that resonate with our company's mission and objectives. It's a role of paramount importance, engaging with top research centers across the US, Europe, and Asia, as well as leading players in the imaging and pharmaceutical sectors.

The successful candidate will not only navigate a diverse array of technical fields, from cutting-edge quantum technology to imaging science, but also excel at driving forward strategic business collaborations of clinical and financial impact. This includes identifying and securing funding opportunities to support these initiatives. You'll be working alongside the world's most distinguished clinicians and scientists to address some of the most challenging problems, leveraging the latest technological advances to foster meaningful, transformative partnerships. 

In this role, you'll have the chance to enhance your skills in strategy, partnership building, and fundraising, with opportunities to advance to P&L management roles. 



Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategies that align with company goals, integrating technological developments and business collaborations.

  • Funding Acquisition: Identify and secure funding and investment opportunities.

  • Partnership Development: Establish and maintain relationships with leading research centers and industry leaders globally.

  • Project Management: Manage collaborative projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.

  • Innovation Leadership: Stay ahead of advancements in quantum technology, imaging science, and clinical applications.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with senior management and teams to align and execute efforts.

  • Technology Advocacy: Represent the company’s technological vision, e.g., at industry events or conferences.

Your profile
  • Medical doctor / Ph.D.  / M.Sc in a scientific field, preferably with publication/s in a high-impact journal 

  • Successful track record as a consultant in a leading consulting firm (>2 years) 

  • Meaningful experience in the development of project proposals

  • Independence and visionary mindset 

  • Excellent organizational and process management skills, great attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (must be a great storyteller) 

  • English proficiency, both written and spoken (German language skills are a plus but not mandatory)

About us

NVision is a quantum biotech startup based in Ulm, Germany, with Tier 1 investors from the USA and Europe. We are just leaving stealth mode, moving from local R&D to global commercialization and expansion.

We are developing a technology that will enable MRI-based imaging of real-time metabolism in the body, with tremendous potential for research and applications in oncology, cardiology, neurology and more. Our company brings together expertise in physics, chemistry, engineering and medicine, and we are collaborating with scientists and clinicians from top medical and research centers such as Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York, MD Anderson in Texas, Technical University of Munich, Cambridge University in the UK and more.

NVision is developing fast, robust and easy-to-use hyperpolarization technology for preclinical and clinical research in our Polaris product line. Those devices are placed close to an MRI scanner in a clinical environment or a research lab to produce hyperpolarized contrast agents on demand. The hyperpolarized solution is prepared in a fast, fully-automated, multi-step process including chemical reactions, polarization transfer and several purification steps. We develop our commercial products in close collaboration with a
 product development partner, while the process development as well as the design of test setups and prototypes is done in-house.
