What you can expect

  • Your path is taking you into a team of currently 25 people – and right into our enormous diversity of projects
  • Your tasks: strategic planning, commissioning and monitoring of test programs for physico-chemical technical, physico-chemical hazard and analytical methods, review and assessment of substance and product identities, technical and scientific contributions to biocidal active substance or product dossiers, management of complex regulatory applications for the approval of biocidal active substances and the authorization of biocidal products
  • Your mission: in collaboration with your colleagues you will prepare biocidal active substance or product dossiers, plan and coordinate studies and engage in various regulatory projects
  • Your focus: to obtain approvals/authorisations for our client’s active substances/biocidal products in the European market

What You offer

  • Science degree in natural sciences (e.g. chemistry or food chemistry or related scientific disciplines)
  • Preferably at least 2-4 years’ professional experience in the field of physico-chemical properties and/or analytical characterization of (in)organic substances or products, as well as in the sphere of regulation (ideally with a focus on biocides)
  • Robust track record of the determination and testing of physical / chemical properties
  • Sound knowledge of various analytical methods (qualitative as well as quantitative, e.g. spectroscopic methods, titration, chromatography)
  • Ability to tackle and coordinate complex tasks and projects effectively
  • Experience with regulatory software tools such as IUCLID, R4BP3 and/or the SPC-Editor is of advantage
  • Experience with the Regulation (EU) No 528/2012 (Biocidal Products Regulation, BPR) would be a plus
  • Good organization skills, a goal orientated way of working and timely observation of deadlines is a must
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in German and English
