Development Engineer for Automation Technology (m/f/d)

We are looking for support for our customer in the field of product development in Heidenau near Hamburg. The company is breaking new ground in the field of intralogistics with its automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and automated tugger trains.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• You enthusiastically support new developments with regards to buildability, costs and manufacturing efficiency.
• You actively participate in the creation of prototypes and support both the developers and the production staff.
• When testing the functionalities of driverless transport systems, you are motivated to lend a
  hand.
• The product manager can count on you to develop new features and to change costumer’s requests.
• You develop changes for the series products A-MATE, FreeLift and A-Mate Counter with joy and you ensure their documentation.
• You are responsible for testing and releasing the series products.
• You coordinate the 3rd-Level-Support

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• You have a completed degree in automation technology, mechatronics or electrics (at least a bachelor’s degree).
• Your professional experiences were gained in the world of automation technology.
• You score points with your additional interest in control processes, software integration and mechanical issues.
• You impress with your communicative and solution-oriented nature and clearly see yourself as a team player who tackles challenges together.
• Knowledge of German and English as well as the confident use of MS Office are also part of your profile.
