The Role:

We are searching for a highly organized and motivated Senior People Operations Manager to play a key role in supporting our internal HR operations. We are a 30 strong team distributed between London, Berlin and Stockholm. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient HR experience for our talented team. This is an on-site role for someone who loves coming to a lovely office in Mitte!

Responsibilities:

  • HR Operations & Administration:
    • Manage the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, including processing new hire paperwork, maintaining accurate employee records, and facilitating terminations, visa, relocation, benefits, maternity/paternity leave)
    • Collaborating closely with external stakeholders to prepare and process monthly payroll accurately for four different locations across Europe, ensuring the delivery of correct payroll data and conducting thorough quality checks.
    • Manage employee benefits administration, including health insurance, vacation time, and other benefits programs.
    • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with German labour laws.
    • Executing and overseeing semi-annual performance management procedures.
  • HR Systems & Technology:
    • Maintain, and configure our HRIS - HiBob (familiarity highly desirable)
    • Generate reports and analyse HR data to support strategic decision-making
    • Stay up-to-date on HR technology trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement:
    • Partner with the Executive Director of Talent Advisory on employee engagement initiatives
    • Assist with internal communications related to HR policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HR Operations or a similar role.
  • Proven experience managing HR information systems (familiarity with Hibob a plus).
  • Strong understanding of German labour laws and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with all levels of employees.
  • Bi-lingual German and English (Native, C2 level) is essential for this role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
