We are looking for a colleague in our team as Specialist - Non Production Material (NPM) Purchasing (m/f/d) at the location Alfdorf, Aschau, Aschaffenburg or Laage.

About the Team:

Non-production Material (NPM) Purchasing in Division R is a newly established department. In the past this function was integrated in ZF group’s corporate functions but not in divisions. With the Carve-out, the new NPM organization starts to operate independently dedicated for the future standalone company. The department is managing a total annual purchasing spend of ~800 M€ globally. It has a matrix organization including 4 global commodities: Machines & Buildings, MROs, NPM Services, Freight Purchasing; and 5 regions: East Europe, Germany, West Europe, Americas, Asia Pacific. Current number of employees of this department is around 85 people. Out of the 85 people, 16 are located in Germany.  

What you can look forward to as Specialist - NPM Purchasing (m/f/d):

• Responsible for NPM Governance & Process Excellence – Directly work for NPM Global Head.
• Develop and manage NPM policies, processes and guidelines in a stand-alone set up. 
• Governance role for the NPM global team and also act an interface for cross-functions.
• Manage and execute process improvements, digitalization initiatives, NPM projects, tool development / roll out.
• Business analytics, cost management for the global NPM function, in terms of spend, saving target, budget, etc.
• Contribute to the further development of the NPM strategy.
• Governance of processes incl. monitoring of deviations and definition of corrective actions.
• Define and provide trainings for new locations or at time of process changes.
• Placing and tracking PO, invoice verification, reporting and SAP maintenance and automatization.

Your profile as Specialist - NPM Purchasing (m/f/d):

• 5 years + working experience in muti-culture companies.
• Experience in purchasing (Non-production material purchasing is preferred), supplier development or equivalent.
• Good know how in process management, business analytics, project management & digitalization / automation.
• Good communication skills and ability. Good presentation skill.
• Quick learning capability, and able to be quick and efficient in solving problems.
• Proficiency in MS Office software, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
• Fluent English is required, German is a plus
