Your responsibilities

We are translating our digital learning units (German source language) with the help of machine translation and human post-editing. For our "electronic technician" vocational training content, we are looking for a native-level speaker/writer of English (f/m/x) with a corresponding specialization to support us in our quality assurance efforts.

Proofreading: You will check the translated learning units (vocational training for electronic technicians) to ensure technical correctness and use of the proper technical terms commonly used in English-speaking countries
Optimization: You will coordinate with the translators and the project leads on basic rules and specialties of the English technical language.
Quality Assurance: You will participate in team reviews on the translated content

Essential Requirements

You have a very good knowledge of electronic and the relevant technical terms
You are a native-level English speaker/writer and familiar with international English
You are enthusiastic about e-learning and digital education
You work in a structured, independent manner and are familiar with agile working methods
You enjoy working with a team and you would like to work 8 hours/week on average
