Allianz Print and Output Services is one of the largest digital print shops in Germany. It is the most modern digital printing center in Europe. In three-shift operation, around 600 million A4 pages are prepared and printed annually for German Allianz entities and external third-party customers, primarily from the financial services sector. Over 100 million letters are enveloped and were sent to recipients by postal service providers. The service is provided fully on site in Grasbrunn-Keferloh.

 

As Head of Allianz Print and Output Services you will oversee the operations and strategic development of the Print and Output Center, ensuring high-quality production and on-time delivery of print services, developing strategies to optimize processes and reduce costs, and managing a team of managers and staff members. Additionally, the role involves supporting and promoting employees in their professional careers, focusing on customer satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with ISO requirements.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the operations and strategic development of the Print and Output Center
  • Responsibility for the production site in Grasbrunn-Keferloh
  • Ensuring high-quality production and on-time delivery of all print services
  • Developing and implementing strategies to optimize processes and reduce costs
  • Profit responsibility for sales and cost control
  • Development of the third-party customer market in Germany
  • Management, motivation and development of a team of 8 managers and staff members as well as 85 employees in 5 departments
  • Supporting and promoting employees in their professional careers
  • Special attention is paid to the satisfaction of internal and external customers
  • Safeguard compliance with ISO requirements in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 9001

 

Your experience

  • Several years of experience as a plant manager, department manager or experienced manager with personnel responsibility, preferably in the printing industry or financial services sector
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in managing accurately a large team
  • Strong entrepreneurial thinking and behaviour
  • Outstanding commitment, motivation and initiative
  • High level of social competence, strong ability to work in a team, ability to deal with conflict and organizational skills
  • Strong assertiveness and high level of self-confidence
  • Communication skills and strong customer and service orientation
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
