As a technical buyer, you are responsible for the technical and operational aspects of our projects. You are in close contact with strategic purchasing, project teams and production, as well as with manufacturers and suppliers. You will independently take on the following tasks:

• Procurement of materials necessary for our projects

• Supplier selection, development and evaluation with regard to adherence to delivery dates, type, quantity and quality of the ordered goods

• Supplier relationship management with visiting suppliers at home and abroad

• Conducting contract and price negotiations with focus on sustainability and alternative materials

• Creation of comparison lists

• Involving suppliers in the design process and in new technical developments

• Preparation of make-or-buy decisions
