Your mission
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Scientist specializing in Electrochemistry and Materials Science to join our dynamic research team. The successful candidate will be part of innovative research projects at the intersection of electrochemistry, surface chemistry, polymer chemistry, and material science. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge sulfur battery technology for a wireless, mobile, sustainable storage of energy.


YOUR TASK

  • Participate in R&D projects focused on lithium sulfur batteries, anode, cathode, and electrolyte development
  • Design and execute experiments to investigate the electrochemical behavior of materials.
  • Develop novel materials and processes for lithium sulfur batteries, with a focus on improving performance, safety, durability, and efficiency.
  • Investigate surface chemistry phenomena to optimize interfaces for enhanced electrochemical performance.
  • Design and synthesize functional materials including polymers, nanoparticles, and composite materials tailored for specific electrochemical applications.
  • Analyze and interpret experimental data to elucidate structure-property relationships and guide materials design.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including chemists, engineers to integrate research findings into practical applications.
  • Present research findings through internal reports, patents, technical presentations, and peer-reviewed publications.
  • Maintain clear and thorough documentation of experimental procedures, results, and conclusions.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation in electrochemical materials and processes, and propose creative solutions to technical challenges.
Your profile
  • Ph.D. in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field with a focus on electrochemistry or materials science.
  • Proven expertise in electrochemistry, with experience in electrochemical characterization techniques and instrumentation.
  • Strong background in surface chemistry, polymer chemistry, and/or material synthesis techniques.
  • Proficiency in designing and conducting experiments, analyzing data, and interpreting results.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated track record of innovation through publications, patents, or successful project outcomes.
