As our Legal Engineer, you'll be instrumental in developing our French AI, a new frontier for us as we expand beyond English and German. We are seeking someone with a strong grasp of contract law and reviewing intricacies in French, along with an entrepreneurial mindset. Your mission
  • Develop our French AI solution and datasets, analyze the AI results and provide legal feedback for further developments.
  • Design automatable commercial contract concepts and language in various ways, including prompting and the creation of prompt libraries.
  • Interact with customers to translate their requirements and to determine how their legal review tasks can be turned into an automated review process.
  • Plan and manage various projects and co-developments with customers.
Your profile
  • You hold a degree in Law or equivalent (any additional education or the admission to the bar is a plus);
  • You have post-qualification experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts (e.g. NDAs, Service Agreements, Construction Agreements, Software License Agreements) in a French-speaking environment;
  • You have excellent (legal) communication and writing skills in English and French (any further language such as German, Spanish or Portuguese is a plus) and enjoy analysing language and have a good feel for linguistic nuances;
  • You are interested in current business trends involving AI, machine learning and prompting, especially generative AI solutions such as ChatGPT; experience with prompting is a big plus;
  • You have already some experience in advising clients in the review of contracts, and you are able to build strong client relationships;
  • You ideally have some experience in planning, managing and executing projects independently and are able to manage multiple priorities/projects in a fast-paced environment;
  • You are a motivated, flexible individual who values teamwork, complemented by a responsible and organized personality.
