CTYS is a British owned, Hamburg based yacht interior consultancy.

Specialists in supplying household goods for the interiors of super yachts, we are looking for another dynamic and enthusiastic team member to join our busy and growing company.

Reporting directly to a Senior Purchaser, you will be given full training on our ERP system, be familiarised with our vast database of suppliers, and learn about the yachting world and our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

In addition to typical merchandising tasks you will:

  1. Procure new goods and identify suppliers, enhancing our comprehensive database by meticulously evaluating quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  2. Produce client quotations and invoices with precision and timeliness, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions and adherence to company policies.
  3. Facilitate communication with suppliers to secure quotes and product information, negotiating terms and conditions to optimize procurement processes.
  4. Oversee the progress of incoming and outgoing orders, coordinating logistics and resolving any discrepancies to maintain operational efficiency and client satisfaction.

Skills required:

  1. Strong MS Office skills
  2. Experience working in an administrative or purchasing environment (minimum 2 years), or recent graduate in an administrative or purchasing related discipline.
  3. Fluent written and spoken English, preferably mother tongue. Confident liaising with an international client base. German language skills are not required.
  4. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to meticulously evaluate product quality and supplier reliability.
  5. Highly organised and able to multi-task accurately in a fast-paced environment
  6. Analytical mindset, capable of evaluating complex data and making informed decisions to optimize procurement processes.
