Our Leipzig International Kindergarten, opened in June 2014, provides over 270 children aged 1 to 6 with a full-day early education programme. We are fortunate to be working in an attractive, purpose-built facility that hosts a wide range of indoor classrooms and play spaces as well as a spacious, landscaped outdoor learning environment
 

We are seeking a part-time Sign Out Assistant to join our dynamic Kindergarten Team from 01 June 2024.

Your tasks and responsibilities

 

• Security overviews for our sign out procedure from 3 to 6 pm
• Ensure that parents sign out their children
• Ensure that pick up permission is up to date for the person picking up the child
• Check ID’s if necessary
• Engaging and interacting with the children and parents as a positive adult role model while they leave/ greet and say good bye to children and parents

Your profile

 

• English language proficiency
• Communication skills
• The ability to quickly and calmly assess situations, process information and act accordingly

Leipzig International School gGmbH is a non-profit, independent educational institution that operates a kindergarten as well as an all-day school with a primary school with integrated after-school care and a secondary school. At present, nearly 1100 students from local and international families study at our institution from the age of one until they reach university entrance qualifications. The teaching language is English. German is taught as a compulsory subject. Furthermore, there is the Käferhaus at Gleisstraße 1 / Schleußig, a day-care centre run by Leipziger Kindergarten gGmbH, a subsidiary of Leipzig International School gGmbH.
