Computer Integration Management (CIM)/Customer End Point (CEP) Equipment Engineer

The computer technical professional in this role will also maintain and support computer hardware and software and machine-to-machine networks throughout the manufacturing facility. This includes product assembly, test, and screening, and materials handling machines and equipment. As a member of the Maintenance group, this individual will provide service and support to the Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Test Engineering, Quality Assurance and Materials groups. This Position will be multi-functional. Will report to directly to the Equipment Engineering Manager.

Job description
In your new role you will:
  • Install new or updated software onto machines and equipment.
  • Repair/rebuild machine and equipment computers and controls hardware
  • Troubleshoot machine and equipment computer/controls hardware and software related issues
  • Establish schedules and Procedures for performing and documenting in CMMS periodic backup of machine and equipment software/programs
  • Create and upkeep inventory of spare parts to support multiple software systems used throughout facility.
  • Be the conduit to Infineon Factory Integration
  • Support Capital Equipment Selection team
  • Drive and own Continuous improvement of the Site calibration department
This position requires access to documentation that is controlled by the export laws of the United States. Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8USC 1324b(a)(3)

Your profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree Computer Technology with Electronics Engineering Technology is Preferred. An Associate Degree or Certificate program in Computer and Information Technology along with Electronics Engineering Technology, may be considered with relevant experience and industry recognized certificates.
  • Understanding of with Mil Specifications, Quality Procedures and Calibration Process and procedures.
  • 5+ years’ work experience in an industrial, manufacturing, setting is preferred
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot both hardware and software issues (program compatibility, bad RAM, etc.)
  • Experience with hardware backup systems and software (RAID, drive imaging and cloning, preferably Macrium Reflect experience)
  • Knowledge in data recovery and restoration (MFT corruption recovery, boot sector restore, deleted file recovery)
  • Creation of Customer end point systems, Troubleshoot Network Issues, drives, drivers Firewall issues, Credentials etc.
  • Ability to work with older operating systems including MS-DOS
  • Knowledge of older computer hardware (connectors, different types of peripheral connectors, serial cables)
  • Familiar with embedded computer systems.
