German-speaking Technical Sales - Pulp & Paper (m/f/d)

COMPANY OVERVIEW
A Japanese company specializing in recycling paper technology with a dominant market share in Japan due to its innovative products and unique technologies.
It is now expanding its business overseas and has opened a European office in Dusseldorf. This office will serve as the hub for the company’s business expansion across Europe.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• New Customer Acquisition:
  • Identify and approach new clients within the paper industry. Participate in trade shows, seminars, and lead-generation activities.
• Customer Interaction and Proposals:
  • Responsible for communicating with clients. Understand customer needs and provide suitable equipment and solution recommendations.
  • Utilize specialized knowledge of paper machinery and process improvements to offer optimal products to clients.
• Follow-up with Existing Clients:
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients and conduct regular follow-ups. Adapt to changing customer needs and provide support.
• Market Research and Competitor Analysis:
  • Research market trends in the paper industry and analyze competitors. Gather strategic information for decision-making.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of Paper Machinery:
  • Essential understanding of paper industry equipment and processes. Familiarity with paper machinery mechanisms and operations is crucial for effective client communication.
• Sales Experience:
  • Proficiency in lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals. Skills related to prospecting, contract negotiation, and closing are vital.
• German and English Proficiency:
  • Business-level German and English is a must.
