Who You Are:

 

You ring a blend of strategic leadership, marketing expertise, and business acumen as either a founder of an agency seeking a larger platform in which to expand, or as a senior executive in an agency environment who desires to apply your capabilities to drive our agency’s growth. You have a deep understanding of the customer lifecycle and approach challenges with a collaborative, customer-centric mindset. Your approach embodies authenticity, transparency, and approachability.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Overall Leadership: Provide leadership and direction, creating the vision, goals, and strategies for growth and success.

 

Oversee Financial Management: Be responsible for the financial health of our agency including budgeting, financial planning, and profitability.

 

Client Management: Nurture client relationships, ensuring that clients are satisfied with our agency’s work, addressing any concerns or issues, and seeking opportunities to expand services to existing clients.

 

Team Management: Lead and manage our agency’s team, including hiring and training staff, providing mentorship and support, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.

 

Creative Direction: While the president may not be involved in day-to-day creative work, they often provide strategic direction and oversight to the creative team, ensuring that campaigns meet client objectives and maintain the agency’s creative standards.

 

Strategy Development: Play a key role in developing advertising and marketing strategies for clients, working closely with account managers, creative teams, and other departments to develop effective campaigns that achieve client goals.

 

Data Management and Analytics: Possess a strong grasp of data management principles and analytics to effectively harness AI capabilities.

 

Business Strategy and AI: Ability to formulate strategies for leveraging AI to enhance the agency's offerings, improve efficiency, and drive growth. This involves identifying areas where AI can create value, developing business cases for AI projects, and aligning AI initiatives with the agency's overall objectives.

 

Technology Integration: Bring a strong technology foundation by understanding advertising technologies, including ad tech platforms, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, marketing automation tools, and data management platforms (DMPs).

 

Strategic Vision: Possess a strategic vision for how data, AI, and technology can be leveraged to drive innovation, enhance client value, and differentiate our agency in the market. Be able to articulate this vision and guide effective execution.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of senior-level experience in marketing agencies or related industries, demonstrating a track record of driving growth and delivering exceptional results.
  • Strong critical thinking and business acumen, capable of developing and executing effective business plans and growth strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire teams, build relationships, and influence stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of marketing principles, techniques, and best practices across traditional and digital channels.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong analytical skills and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Experience working globally or with diverse, multi-location teams.
