We are a multinational procurement team, currently consisting of 25 colleagues, based mainly in Hamburg, Germany and the UK, with further localities and colleagues still being added in 2024. Being responsible for streamlining and optimizing the procurement processes

with all areas of Bauer Media Group, while at the same time generating savings across all commodities.

 

For our headquater in Hamburg we are looking for a Group Procurement Manager Real Estate (m/f/d):

 

Your responsibilities

  • Run projects and maximize savings on big-ticket CAPEX projects in 10+ countries, with more than 120 offices as well as warehouses and industrial properties.
  • Implementation of international tenders as well as conduct of price and contract negotiations
  • Be responsible for a commodity (e.g. IT, General Goods and Services), define a sourcing strategy and make sure that Bauer Media Group benefits entirely
  • Conduct market research to support business cases, find alternative products, suppliers and markets and monitor price trends
  • Establish, govern, and enforce efficient purchasing processes and help establish a procurement mindset throughout entire organization
  • Support category management in the definition and implementation of category and supplier strategy
  • Develop the maturity level of the purchasing organization
  • Be part of SAP S/4 HANA implementation project as well as other procurement related IT tools e.g. in catalogue systems, travel- and expense-management
  • Responsibility for compliance with all legal and operational requirements

 

Your profile

  • Completed bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, economics or comparable
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in purchasing, strategic procurement, supply chain management or comparable areas in international organizations
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
  • You would describe yourself as resilient and have strong financial, commercial and analytical skills
  • You have the ability to communicate on different levels and with different cultures
  • You are a teamplayer with an eye for detail alongside with the ability to plan, organize and multi-task
  • Business fluent German and English, oral and written​​​​​​​
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills and experience with ERP, preferably SAP4H as well as other procurement tools
