Hansella is a globally operating company and part of the family-owned Rotzinger Group. At our location in Viersen, we design, manufacture, and deliver high-quality machinery and equipment to confectionery manufacturers worldwide. Our team consists of around 160 dedicated employees. For 100 years, we have stood for innovation and reliability and have been successful in training for decades.


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our company's operations and drive strategic initiatives. The General Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of the business, from production and manufacturing to sales and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering or manufacturing, with proven leadership skills and a strategic mindset.


Your impact

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company goals and objectives, including growth targets, market expansion, and operational efficiency improvements
  • Operations Management: Oversee all aspects project management, supply chain, production, quality control, and logistics to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products to customers
  • Financial Management: Manage the company's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability analysis
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a diverse team of professionals, including engineers, production staff, sales representatives, and administrative personnel
  • Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understand their needs, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and safety protocols to maintain a safe and legal operating environment
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation initiatives, technology adoption, and process improvements to stay competitive and meet evolving market demands
  • Reporting and Communication: Report to the Group CEO, provide regular reports to the board, executive team and stakeholders on business performance, challenges, and opportunities

Requirements

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Proven experience in a senior management role, preferably in the production, manufacturing or machinery industry
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
  • Excellent strategic planning and decision-making abilities
  • Solid understanding of financial management and budgeting processes
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated track record of driving business growth and operational excellence
