Clinical Data Management Specialist*

Overview
We are currently seeking full-time a Clinical Data Management Specialist* to support our global team. You can work in Tübingen, Munich or remote (Germany) in an interdisciplinary environment with colleagues from Tübingen, Munich and Houston (USA). This permanent position is responsible for supporting the Data Management team in managing the data and documentation of a variety of clinical trial documents.
Your mission
Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following tasks:
 
Support the Data Management team in 
  • Generating, reviewing, updating and finalizing documents (e.g., data management plan, data validation plan, data reconciliation plan, etc.)
  • User Acceptance Testing and documentation of trial specific eCRF (electronic Case Report Forms) 
  • Maintenance and quality control of Local Lab normal ranges
  • Site and user access management within the EDC (electronic data capture)
  • Data review and data cleaning
  • Query management 
  • Data base lock activities 
  • Filling and quality control of documents in the (e)Trial Master File
Your profile
You hold a degree in Life Sciences or Computer Sciences or have a comparable education. Initial professional experience in the pharmaceutical/ biotechnology industry is desirable. Ideally you have knowledge of medical terminology, coding and preferably Serious Adverse Events reconciliation, and are familiar with ICH-GCP, FDA and EMA regulations. 
 
For your day-to-day activities, we expect very good verbal and written communication skills in English and good knowledge of MS Office-applications.
