What do you contribute?

  • As a Senior Bid Manager (f/m/d), you will be responsible for preparing complex bids for international A, B and C projects for our regional trains and urban railways.
  • First and foremost, you will independently prepare challenging bids for new projects for our national and international customers and be responsible for all related technical aspects of the bidding process.
  • You will ensure the timely preparation of competitive and high-quality offers through close co-operation with specialist departments (Sales, Engineering, Plant, Purchasing, etc.) and international regional companies.
  • You will conduct customer negotiations at various stages of contract initiation.
  • Together with the Commercial Bid Manager, you will analyse the tender documents, derive bid strategies on your own responsibility, prepare comprehensive documentation and competitive cost and price calculations, taking the target price into account.
  • You will also ensure compliance with the bidding processes and present your bids to management (LoA process).

What do you bring along?

  • You have a master's degree in engineering or economics.
  • You already have many years of professional experience in sales, project management or bid management in the rail industry, plant construction or similar.
  • You have sound experience in preparing quotations.
  • You are experienced in communicating with international, cross-location teams and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • You are business fluent in English and German and are willing to travel (approx. 15%).
