What do you contribute?

  • You will manage our "Commuter and Regional" segment based in Erlangen, which develops rail vehicles for urban, regional and interregional transportation and sells them all over the world.
  • You will lead approx. 500 employees, report directly to the CEO of the Rolling Stock business unit and have full global P&L responsibility for a business volume in the billions.
  • You will be responsible for creating first-class offers that will enable us to maintain and further expand our excellent market position.
  • As a proven sales personality, you will look after the most important customers yourself and personally secure the most important business deals at management level.
  • In particular, you will focus on efficient project management and create the framework conditions to lead even difficult projects to success.
  • You use your technical expertise and pronounced cost awareness to develop the product portfolio in a target-oriented manner.
  • You work together with your management team and your customers in a spirit of trust and uphold our high standards of cooperation, goal orientation and integrity.

What do you bring along?

  • You have a university degree (Master's/Diploma) in an engineering discipline.
  • You also have many years of experience in managing large and international organizations, ideally with profit & loss responsibility.
  • You will impress us with a background in rail technology or industrial plant business.
  • You also have extensive project management experience and have already faced turnaround challenges.
  • You love sales and are used to interacting with diverse customers at top management level.
  • Experience in optimizing supplier portfolios makes you our ideal candidate (f/m/d).
  • For your global management role, you will have intercultural experience, a willingness to travel (approx. 20%) and business fluent English skills.
