Your mission
We are seeking a Country Manager to lead our social media endeavors in Japan. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Japanese culture and sports scene, combined with extensive experience in social media marketing and management. This role requires a native/professional language capability in Japanese and working proficiency in English and/ or Chinese capable of driving growth, increasing audience engagement, and strengthening the online presence of our sports clients.

- Understand and implement social media strategies for our sports clients that resonate with the Japanese market.
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of social media channels, ensuring content is timely, relevant, and engaging.
- Plan, allocate, and manage paid media budgets to maximize reach and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with designers and videographers to produce localized content, as well as adapt and optimize global content for the Japanese audience.
- Compile and present regular reports on social media performance, insights, and trends to inform future strategies.
- Lead and manage freelancers and ground teams, ensuring top-notch content creation and timely execution of plans.
- Stay abreast of changes in the social media landscape, competitor activity, and the sports industry to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Communicate in partnership with our client leads on a day-to-day basis with our client’s social media teams directly to plan & localize content and report on performance
