• Technical leadership and further development of our global eCommerce platform Intershop and its ~20 online stores

• Responsibility for the architecture, design, and implementation of Intershop-based applications in close collaboration with our solution architect

• Ensuring of compliance with our quality requirements for the software development standards of our eCommerce solutions

• Coordination of agile development teams as well as active participation as a developer in agile projects. Development of CaaS clients based on Intershop 7 (ICM).

• Active participation in the continuous improvement of change, test, and deployment processes (CI/CD) with our internal corporate departments (test management, etc.) and business processes with the eBusiness team

• Collaboration in the central Global eBusiness Team consisting of experienced digital experts in the area of eCommerce and UX

• A degree in computer science or a related field or completed professional training with relevant experience

• Experience in the implementation of eCommerce projects, including comprehensive knowledge of Intershop

• Many years of experience in Java programming (including J2EE) as well as in web technologies like REST, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, ISML, and Intershop Pipelines. Additionally, familiar with 2EE, JSP, XML/XSLT, JAXB, Apache Axis, and Angular.

• Proven knowledge in software architecture, with software design patterns, in data handling, in working with REST APIs, and with relational databases Azure SQL / Oracle

• Practical experience with agile development methods, continuous delivery, and deployment strategies

• Good knowledge of the software development lifecycle, in automating DevOps tasks, with code versioning (e.g., Git), and code reviews

• Customer orientation, strong communication skills, and team spirit

• Basic German skills and very good English skills
