CATIA V6-Engineer – Closures Systems (m/f/x)

What to expect:
- Design and engineer parts and systems for the closure systems, such as doors, hoods, decklids, and sealing systems
- Develop conceptual packaging models for various closures components, including sheet metals, multi-material components, seal extrusions, and closures hardware
- Collaborate with other groups to ensure packaging compliance and clearance
- Take ownership, drive, and confirm your designs' performance with assistance from CAE, manufacturing, and suppliers
- Join a fast-paced hardware engineering department
What you bring along:
- Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals including expertise in fluid flow, thermals, and the strength & stiffness of materials, as well as physics
- German language must have (B2)
- Design knowledge specifically focused on plastic parts
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant design & engineering experience
- Creativity demonstrated within a complex 3D virtual package environment
- Proficiency in creating complex CAD models using CATIA V6, with an emphasis on speed and efficiency
- Robust knowledge of GD&T and its application to parts, assemblies, and meeting customer requirements
- Well-developed skills in teamwork and interpersonal communication
- Demonstrated great work ethic
