Team Lead Accounting (f/m/d)

We are looking for someone to coordinate and manage our accounting team responsible for accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ideally with extensive accounting experience in the railway industry or a similar sector.

• You lead the accounts payables & accounts receivables department with up to 4 employees
• You manage the invoice workflow
• You handle the correct tax treatment of international invoices
• You are responsible for vendor account reconciliation and settlement
• You are responsible for the payment run, checking travel expenses and asset accounting
• You take care of the monthly and year-end balance reconciliation and internal reporting
• You support during audits and are able to create and explain account reporting
• You cooperate with external accounting providers regarding documents, account reconciliation and preparation of the financial statements

The best qualifications for this position are:

• Experienced AP or AR accountant and knowledge of European VAT
• Proactive personality with hands on mentality
• Strong sense of responsibility within your designated job area
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good MS Office User Skills
• Preferably experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365
• Proficiency in English and German
