Project Description & Role
We are looking for a lead QA engineer for a full-time remote (or from our offices in Krakow, Kyiv and Sofia) position working on a large-scale project based in London. The platform is related to the organization of events (CMS, e-commerce). Our client is one of the biggest event organizers in the world.Â
You will work with a CMS (custom content management system built with Node/ React / Ember). The project includes microservices and different teams.
Users can be divided into 3 categories – content managers, event organizers, and those who buy tickets and have all benefits from participating.Â
The tean working on the project has developed a massive enterprise-level platform that will target new markets.
It is assumed that there will be a lot of communication in English and the possibility of trips to both London and other company offices.
Development methodology: Scrum.
The Job
- Creation of test artifacts (such as feature/release test plans, test cases, etc).
- Development of test scenarios, test runs, test reports.
- Running and improving regression testing
- Verication of stories, tasks, and bugfixes.
- Improving processes of development and delivery.
- Lead 2 intermediate QA engineers.
- Collaborate with PO, BA, Developers, Designers, and Stakeholders.
- Investigation and documentation of issues in complex systems.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of work experience as SQAE/SDET
- Strong functional testing knowledge and concepts.
- Experience working with Git
- Experience with Git and Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence)
- Experience with CI/CD practices and tools (Jenkins)
- Experience in Web and CMS testing
- Experience in microservices testing
- Understanding of Javascript(Node, React, Ember) code
- Experience with different types of SDLC
- Root cause analysis
- Good communication skills
- English (upper-intermediate or better)Â
