In this way you help us, for example, to give insights into the semiconductor market development, allocate resources effectively, enable top-management decisions, andincrease profitability. You will be part of the Business Intelligence and Development (BID) team and contribute to its success as well as support other departments of the Power and Sensor Systems (PSS) Division in a wide range of activities.

Job description
In your new position you will take over the following responsibilities:
  • Orchestrate and further develop the PSS market model in coordination with Sales & Marketing
  • Structure and implement the strategy development process of PSS with regard to market development, strategic key questions, business cases and risk analysis on division and business line level together with different stakeholders
  • Participate in the analysis of the PSS portfolio and competitive environment with regard to business and product portfolios as well as the market environment in cooperation with representatives from the business lines
  • Support strategic M&A projects and work closely with the IFX Strategy Department
  • Support the internal and external reporting of the division as well as the business lines
  • Prepare ad-hoc analyses for the Infineon & PSS Top Management
  • Support projects at PSS level with your business and market knowledge
  • Further drive automation and digitalization topics for the improvement of internal processes and systems

It is easy for you to structure complex topics and effectively share them thanks to your remarkable communication and stakeholder management skills. In discussions you can not only represent your opinion steadfastly but also explain it comprehensibly. At the same time, you appreciate diverse input and respect the viewpoints of others. In a team you always strive for a high-quality working atmosphere, open cooperation and exchange.

What makes you an ideal candidate?
  • Either a degree in economics / business and a strong affinity for physics and electrical engineering, or a degree in physics / electrical engineering and business knowledge (e.g. through an MBA)
  • Several years of experience in consulting, strategy, market analytics or banking, optimally in a large, international company and therefore familiarity with topics like M&A, Marketmodel and competition analysis
  • Fun and passion to gain knowledge on semiconductor markets and to combine it with business acumen. The interest to learn more about our products and the technical aspects of semiconductors
  • Being able to convey complex topics with passion and to communicate them in a tangible way to top management as well as colleagues without a technical / business background
  • The ability to work under pressure to keep deadlines, ad-hoc requests and multiple stakeholders at the same time
  • Very good MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent English language skills. Knowledge of German would be very appreciated
