AI Solution Architect

Job Summary

An AI Solution architect is responsible for the Artificial Intelligence (AI) and High Performance Computing (HPC) solution offering in the presales phase and for ensuring that the solution meets the company’s needs. As our AI Solution Architect, you’ll lead the way in using artificial intelligence to create innovative solutions for our business needs. Your main job is to figure out how to make the most of AI to help our organization grow and succeed. You’ll use your expertise in AI to come up with advanced strategies and solutions.

Primary duties and responsibilities

Meet AI and HPC customers, in both commercial and public sector, understand their needs and discuss their project.
Position yourself as a trusted advisor to AI/HPC customers. Analysing RFPs and crafting high quality technical proposals for intricate HPC & AI tenders. We seek detail-oriented self-starters who can work under their own supervision and also work as part of a cross-disciplinary bid team.
Design AI and HPC winning solutions, tailored to customer applications, requirements, and environments.
Solutions will be heavily focussed on hardware, including the selection of compute platforms, networking, high speed storage and associated software tooling required to operate AI infrastructures.
Define and guide the technical direction and overall architectural vision for AI and GenAI projects. This will involve assessing multiple vendors and their technologies to find the right mix of products and services to deliver successful customer projects.
Participate in deep-dive discussions, articulate ParTec value proposition, and successfully demonstrate benefits of the proposed solution in addressing and resolving customer business challenges.
Support customers meetings through presentation of ParTec offering and solutions highlighting ParTec differentiation.
Input to the company’s AI strategy, and establish/guide the plan for AI products and their roadmaps.
Be an advocate for customer’s AI and HPC workflows on modular computing architectures.

Required skills and experience

Bachelor of Science or similar technical degree, master’s degree or Ph.D as a plus.
10+ years of experience in technology industry with focus on hardware and software solution selling.
5+ years of experience in presales and solution design.
Ability to understand and influence customer demands, to analyse and to present how ParTec systems can address the needs.
Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical ability.
Good written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work in a team-oriented, international environment and to communicate across all levels.
Fluent use (written & spoken) of German and English language.
