What to expect:

  • Evaluate existing and new regulations/requirements (laws, norms, standards etc.) with relevance for the customer impacted system in different markets;
  • Identify by impacted professions, the regulatory requirements (including CoP-Conformity of Production surveillance) linked to its field, collaboration and maintenance of a regulatory database for regulations relevant to the impacted system (in coordination with other internal departments);
  • Deploy the regulatory requirements to the professions, and ensuring their integration and identification in the profession’s specific standards (including in the user manuals);
  • Create of/defining the expected proofs to guarantee regulatory compliance and ensuring their standardization for the customer’s impacted system;
  • Officialize/formalize regulatory risks in preliminary projects;
  • Assure the assignment of regulatory chapters to requirements and contributing to the verification of compliance with regulatory requirements, checking and ensuring traceability;
  • Contribute to the technical files needed for the homologation/approval and/or self-certification of the vehicle, ensuring the convergence and quality of the elements provided by the PFE (project and serial life);
  • Realize the process of regulatory texts in requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS) for further processing in specifications;
  • Realize the process of regulatory references for functional and component requirements according to the Software Update Management System (SUMS) process;
  • Participate in audits in the design and, if necessary, manufacturing stages of a vehicle
  • Participate in the search for solutions and arbitration points/meetings to resolve possible hard points (bottlenecks).
 

What you bring along:

  • Experience and technical background in automotive system development projects;
  • Good understanding of vehicles architecture and operation (Internal Combustion Engine Vehicles, Hybrid and Electric Vehicles);
  • Knowledge of the V Cycle development method;
  • Knowledge of different regulations specific to automotive homologation processes;
  • Knowledge of electric and electronic circuit architecture analysis and automotive Electronic Control Units SW development/analysis;
  • Knowledge of specific automotive software (JIRA, DOORS, MATLAB/Simulink, etc.);
  • Knowledge of English language (French language knowledge is “nice to have”).
