Position Summary:
 
Supporting the Infor Japan office, you will be a Strategic Business Partner that shares responsibility for the business goals and target delivery, within a matrix organization. You will be responsible for designing and implementing plans and programs that support employee engagement. You will facilitate organizational change to align with business strategy and objectives, utilizing analytics, project management and communication skills.
 
As a Senior HR Manager you should be flexible, enjoy a fast paced, ever-changing business, capable of managing multiple demands and priorities. You should appreciate and have the ability to interact with people from many cultures and diverse backgrounds.

Essential Duties:
 
• Strategic partnership with the Japan Leadership team and to support in the delivery of business goals.
• Support the HR Director with Global agenda and projects as required
• Partner with internal customers assigned to the job holder to develop organizational capability to meet business goals.
• Provide guidance and coaching to management and employees as appropriate in line with PBM Guiding Principles
• Operate as a key business adviser and subject matter expert with assigned team(s) through business knowledge, relationship management and proactive interventions.
• Demonstrate the ability to understand business goals and market trends and leverage this insight to recommend and influence new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company.
• Act as a catalyst for change; guide and direct organisational design, development and change management solutions.
• Coach senior leaders on complex leadership and HR issues including development and talent performance and issues, which could have the potential to create a competitive advantage for the business.
• Support the core processes that add value in talent management, employee engagement and all other HR activities
• Build relationships with in-country and Global HR teams as appropriate
• Co-ordinate with the country HR teams re. day-to-day HR actions
• Take responsibility for ad-hoc HR projects as and when required
• Deal with HR issues, e. g. disciplinary and grievances and ensure all matters are concluded satisfactorily. Work with country processes as applicable
• Develop and deliver certain training sessions, workshops as required by business, when appropriate
 
Basic Qualifications:
 
• Bachelor degree in HR Management or a similar academic education
• Excellent English language skills
• Significant generalist HR experience in a global and matrixed environment, providing guidance and influence to Senior level/Executive leadership team members
