Lounge by Zalando is an online shopping club for fashion and lifestyle products. We offer our members daily, time-limited sale campaigns with discounts of up to 75% off the recommended retail price. We'll reach millions of members across 17 European markets, inviting them to participate in a vibrant treasure hunt.
Reporting into the Head of CRM, we are looking for a Principal Product Manager to build the next generation of highly personalized and automated commercial messaging. This includes Email, App- and In-Product Messaging, which serves as our most impactful Marketing channel.
You will own the development as well as setting up product management processes in the CRM team.
As part of our diverse CRM team of 20 full-time employees, you'll work in a vibrant, environment. You'll work closely with Zalando Lounge's Analytics, Research and Tech teams, as well as stakeholders from other Zalando propositions.

This is a hybrid position (40% office time, 60% work from home) and is based in Berlin.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
You´ll define and deliver the next generation of highly personalized and automated email, mobile & in-product communication
You'll uncover opportunities to enhance customer experience, drive loyalty and commercial growth.
You’ll translate these commercial opportunities into a clear roadmap and drive execution and testing together with respective teams.
You'll lead the organization in building a working backwards product development process to implement and iterate on this.
You’ll work in cross-functional projects within Lounge and the Zalando Group to contribute to strategic initiatives.
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
You have relevant +8 years expertise in Product Management, ideally in e-commerce. You have demonstrated experience in converting strategy and product roadmaps into high-quality products utilizing Product Development principles and methods.
You understand email marketing, push notifications and in-product messaging best practices & standards and have translated customer insights into powerful communication products.
You have worked with highly automated personalized email or app notification solutions and you are an expert for behavior triggered use cases. You know how to leverage customer data and recommendation engines for personalization. Braze experience is a plus.
You have a strong analytical mindset with the ability to distill complex information into easy-to-understand concepts and you measure the success of your products to continuously iterate them.
You have the ability to clearly communicate the product vision and technical matters to a broad audience, including senior management, tech teams and colleagues from within and outside the department.
