• Manage and lead a dynamic team of production people and technicians
• Fostering a collaborative work environment for an innovative production site never seen before: Vegan 3D Food printing
• Coordinate with the Lead Process Engineer in charge to create and implement efficient production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of the output products while maintaining optimal resource utilization and minimizing waste (therefore production costs)
• Collaborate  with  the  two  key  R&D  departments  (Engineering  and  Food  Tech  Team)  to incorporate  new  technologies  and  techniques  into  the  production  process  either  for optimization reasons or for quickly answering or troubleshooting an issue
• Coordinate with Operation and Logistics teams the seamless movement of raw materials and finished products in and out of the facility
• Oversee the  maintenance  and  calibration  of  3D  printing  equipment,  ensuring  optimal functionality and troubleshooting technical issues as they arise
• Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee the highest standards in the production to meet the requirements
• Availability to stay on-site to oversee critical processes and ensure completion of tasks for a smooth start the following day: If needed, enforce extended working hours for shifts if the production site is not functioning well.
• You  will  help  implement  a  food-safe  production  site  (also  with  the  help  of  our  QM consultants) to ensure the production is food safe, monitor HACCP, and address quality and safety concerns promptly
• Supervise audits from supermarkets or from the state
• Flexibility to work in different production windows depending on the needs of production

Who you are:

• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with a progressive increase in responsibility as a production manager or in a similar supervisory position
• Relevant knowledge and experience in food safety is required
• Previous experience in the use of ERP systems is of advantage
• Ability to  adapt  to  changing  situations  and  navigate  complexities  within  a  production environment
• Any additional  QM  knowledge  is  beneficial  (HACCP,  IFS  requirements  or  equivalent certifications, GMP, safety hazards)
• Familiarity with  continuous  improvement  methodologies,  such  as  Six  Sigma  or  LeanManufacturing is beneficial
• Enjoy working with people and machines
• Advanced knowledge of English
• German language skills are of advantage but not required
• Organizational talent and team player

As a Food Process Engineering Intern at Revo Foods, you will have a unique opportunity to work on  groundbreaking  projects  that  address  challenges  in  sustainable  food  production.  You  will collaborate  closely  with  our  team  of  food  technologists  and  engineers  to  optimize  production that  is  using  innovative  3D-printers  to  produce  vegan  seafood  products.  This  internship  is designed to provide hands-on experience in  food engineering, process optimization,  and research and development in the context of sustainable and plant-based seafood. Your tasks will include:

• Research  and  Development:  Conduct  literature  reviews  and  experimental  research  to support the development of 3D-printed vegan seafood production
• Process Optimization: Assist in optimizing 3D-printing methods for improved efficiency, product quality, and sustainability
• Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze data from experiments, prototype trials, and production processes to optimize production and implement data-driven recommendations
• Quality Control:  Assist  in  the  development  of  quality  control  procedures  and  ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations

We are searching for a Software Engineering Intern for a duration of 5-6 months. As an intern in Software Engineering, you will be proactively using your knowledge and expertise in developing in-house constructed hardware for our production facility of 3D printers. At the same time, you will have a chance to grow with an international team of highly motivated engineers. Your tasks will include:

• Collaborating with our experienced team of engineers and food scientists to design and develop a state-of-the-art slicer software
• Conducting research and experimentation to understand the challenges and opportunities of non-planar 3D food printing
• Implementation of algorithms and methodologies to enable precise control and synchronization of the printing process
• Optimizing the slicer for performance, speed, and reliability
• Conducting rigorous testing and validation to ensure the slicer meets the highest quality standards
• Documentation of the development process and prepare reports on findings
• Sensor integration: Understanding of sensor technologies and experience in integrating sensors for real-time data acquisition
• Algorithm Development: Knowledge of control algorithms, such as PID controllers, and the ability to implement them for closed-loop systems

As an intern, you will be proactively using your knowledge and expertise in developing in-house constructed hardware for our production facility of 3D printers as well as the successful printing of our products. At the same time, you will have a chance to grow with an international team of highly motivated engineers. Your tasks will include:

• Set up, calibrate, and operate 3D food printers to produce a wide range food products according to specified designs and recipes
• Collaborate with our Foodtech team to adapt recipes for 3D printing, ensuring taste, texture, and visual appeal meet the standards
• Perform routine maintenance on 3D printing equipment and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during production
• Implement quality control processes to maintain consistent output and ensure the highest quality standards are met
• Maintain accurate records of printing parameters, recipes, and quality control data
• Conducting research and analysis to identify innovative design concepts for 3D printing hardware used in the production of vegan fish
• Creating detailed 3D models and engineering drawings of the hardware components
