Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and control the overall operations of the DACH food business for DKSH
  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities to increase our market coverage 
  • Coordinate and provide leadership responsibility for the sales teams in Königstein im Taunus, Hamburg, Austria and Switzerland (direct reports 5x)
  • Manage the DACH product portfolio
  • Regularly visit clients and key customers 
  • Represent Business Line interests within the country organization and participate in the Country Management Team
  • Develop strategies for local marketing initiatives such as digital campaigns, customer events, and exhibitions.
  • Organize regular business review meetings with Sales Managers 

Your Profile

  • Degree in Food Technology or Science or similar related discipline, with relevant sales and leadership experience with a distributor or a manufacturer in the food ingredients industry
  • Broad network in the food ingredients industry in DACH region 
  • Empathic, highly motivated and target driven with high time-management skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a variety of sales, negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Excellent and fluent writing and speaking skills in both English and German
