As a Quality Assurance Specialist for the Exact Online Payroll product, you will be responsible for executing comprehensive quality assurance activities to verify the functionality, performance, and usability of the software. You will work closely with the development team, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand the product requirements and design test plans accordingly. Your primary goal will be to identify and report any defects, bugs, or usability issues in order to ensure that the product meets the highest quality standards.

As a Quality Assurance Specialist you will be developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Exact Online Payroll, considering functional, performance, and usability aspects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria and conduct both manual and automated testing to validate the software's functionality, performance, and user experience. And that is not all. You will also;
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems, and work closely with the development team to facilitate their resolution.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that fixed issues do not introduce new problems and validate the overall stability of the product.
- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover any hidden issues or usability challenges.
- Continuously improve the quality assurance process by proposing enhancements to test methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Collaborate with the product management team to provide feedback on the product's user experience, usability, and overall quality.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and best practices for software quality assurance.

For this role we are looking for a new colleague, passionate about quality and with a strong knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies, tools, and best practices. Next to this, you have:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist or a similar role in software development, preferably with payroll or HR software products.
- Experience in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Proficiency in performing both manual and automated testing.
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems and software testing frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of payroll processes and regulations in the Benelux region is a plus.
