Your role:

The Supply Chain & Warehousing Team are looking to recruit a Supply Chain Project Manager to join the team.
The successful candidate will join the Supply Chain & Warehousing team which is part of the wider Marine Logistics & Supply Chain department within Fleet Operations & Maintenance – Offshore Wind.

We are looking for someone who has experience delivering projects in a multi stakeholder, complex organisational and operational environment. 
The chosen candidate will be responsible for allocated projects which typically involve the development and implementation of supply chain & warehousing business strategies & processes to meet the identified business needs within an offshore wind operational environment.

The role requires the ability to develop effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels within the business. 
This is a innovative and varied role, requiring advanced communication and time management skills as well as a solid skill set in project management.

The role will suit a candidate who has a knowledge base in supply chain management with 5 years or more experience as a Project Manager or alternatively an Assistant Project Manager with 5 years’ experience who is highly motivated and wants to take that next step in their career.

Your future plans:

Project Planning: 

  • Work alongside the Supply Chain & Warehousing Lead to develop project scopes, involving all relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, deliverables, timelines, and procedures.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Time Management: 

  • Establish critical milestones and dependencies.
  • Coordinate internal project members to deliver tasks on time.

Team Management: 

  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Ensure project team is working toward the same goal.
  • Monitor team performance and provide guidance and support when required.

Budget Management:

  • Work alongside the Supply Chain & Warehousing Lead to develop and monitor cost estimates, Capex / Opex budget forecasts and actuals ensuring budgets stay within scope and resources are utilised effectively.
  • Ensure all project deliverables are met on time and within budget.

Change Management: 

  • Track changes in project scope, schedule and costs.

Stakeholder Management: 

  • Direct relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Communicate project updates.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential internal & external risks and develop strategies to mitigate.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/suppliers.

Your Essential skill set:

  • Advanced verbal and visual presentation skills.
  • Effective organisational, time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Comprehensive written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines.
  • Ability to influence and coordinate across multiple international cultures and a geographically diverse portfolio.
  • Proficiency in MS projects and MS software and tools.
  • Ability to influence and communicate across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Internationally oriented, fully committed, flexible and ready to travel to meet the business requirements.
  • 5 years’ experience of project management as a project manager or assistant project manager.

Your profile:

  • Professional qualification in Supply Chain Management, commercial law or international trade is beneficial.
  • Contract negotiation experience is beneficial.
  • Offshore or onshore wind industry background is beneficial.
  • Documented evidence of previous project management or assistant project management experience.
