Your mission
As the Senior Procurement Manager for Freaks 4U Gaming, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement function, building and leading a small team of procurement professionals. Your role will involve developing and executing procurement strategies, managing vendor relationships, optimizing procurement processes, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services to support the agency's operations and projects.
- Build and oversee the procurement function, collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and objectives
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services while maintaining high quality standards
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate favorable contracts and agreements to optimize pricing and terms
- Conduct market research and stay abreast of industry trends to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes, streamline operations, and increase overall efficiency
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures, as well as relevant legal and regulatory requirements
- Build and supervise a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and mentorship to support their growth and development
