Job mission and impact

We are seeking an enthusiastic, people-oriented and entrepreneurial Business Development Professional who wants to develop existing collaborations and to grow business world-wide.
The role requires a strong scientific background and technical knowledge of our services paired with an in depth understanding of the specific needs of clients in big pharma and emerging biotech companies.

Requirements and Responsibilities

University degree (Master’s, PhD or equivalent) in a relevant scientific area.
You have high energy, a motivated attitude and entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire to learn, grow and succeed.
You have a solid understanding of the drug discovery and development process and you can consult our clients how ‘omics technologies can aid their objectives.
Through knowledge of the industry and a network of opinion leaders, you identify new clients and potential collaborations.
You ensure an efficient turnaround of requests through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to design research studies, manage contract negotiations and to develop tailored business strategies.
Representation of OmicScouts at relevant industry and scientific conferences, meetings and symposia.
Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills, paired with intercultural and cross-functional competence and business proficiency in English language.
