As application engineer process industries (m/f/d) you’ll design and implement valuable and sustainable applications with and for our customers in the process industries as part of an engaged team. Our integration platform offers you a wide range of opportunities to realise your creative ideas in innovative business applications for the optimisation of energy consumption, maintenance and repair, process engineering processes, production planning and more. We provide you with a wide range of classic and modern technologies and programming environments for your application development.

Your tasks

• Developing and maintaining the high-performance specialised applications of our enterprise platform
• Conceiving and developing new applications to optimise the planning, production, and delivery processes
• Gathering requirements and specifying application functionalities in coordination with the development team and customers
• Ensuring professional and technological quality through automated testing and documentation of the applications
• Conducting reviews and facilitating knowledge transfer
• Engaging in customer-oriented project-based services and customer support services

Our requirements

• Successfully completed education or degree in the field of process industries, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related qualification
• Experience and expertise in developing specialised applications within the process industries
• Proficiency in UI/UX, object-oriented programming, data modeling, PL/SQL, ETL, unit testing, C++, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Vue.js, Quasar, databases, and Git
• Independent work approach and teamwork skills
• Effective communication skills and customer focus
• Analytical thinking, structured approach, and quality consciousness
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Good German and English language skills are desirable
