Your tasks:
- Solicitation of bids, preparation and execution of requests for proposals and price comparisons up to contract award
- Conducting contract negotiations and drawing up contracts
- Inventory monitoring, scheduling and quantity planning as well as merchandise planning in cooperation with the sales department
- Continuous supplier care, supplier development and supplier communication
- Observation of the markets and the competition with regard to qualities and quantities as well as the
- Identification of trends and possible new products
Your profile:
- Several years of professional experience as a buyer (m/f/d), ideally in the field of nutritional products
- Affinity for the food industry as well as a feel for trends and changes in the marketplace
- You are characterized by an independent and structured way of working with a high degree of initiative and entrepreneurial thinking
- Strong communication skills, negotiation skills and the ability to work in a team are a must for you
- Very good PC skills (MS Office)
- Fluent in written and spoken German and English
