As a Data Scientist at change2target, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging data and artificial intelligence to automate and optimize business processes for our clients. Your work will involve developing cutting-edge AI solutions to drive efficiency and innovation across various industries.

What you can expect

  •  Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and automation needs. Translate client requirements into data-driven AI solutions.
  • Data Collection and Integration: Gather, preprocess, and integrate data from diverse sources within client organizations, ensuring data quality and consistency.
  • Machine Learning Model Development: Design, develop, and train machine learning models to automate processes, make predictions, and provide recommendations. Implement various algorithms and techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, and deep learning.
  • Robotic Process Automation (RPA): Develop and deploy RPA solutions to automate repetitive tasks and workflows, streamlining operations and reducing manual effort.
  • Natural Language Processing (NLP): Apply NLP techniques to analyze and process text data, enabling automation in areas such as document classification, sentiment analysis, and chatbots.
  • Computer Vision: Develop computer vision models for image and video analysis, including object detection, image recognition, and video analytics, as relevant to client needs.
  • Automation Workflow Design: Create end-to-end automation workflows using RPA tools and custom scripts, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
  • Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor the performance of AI and automation solutions, making adjustments and enhancements as needed to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ethical and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that AI and automation implementations adhere to ethical guidelines, data privacy regulations, and industry-specific compliance standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of AI models, data pipelines, and automation workflows for transparency, reproducibility, and future reference.
  • Client Training: Provide training and support to client teams in adopting and maintaining AI automation systems, empowering them to manage and optimize the solutions independently.
  • Cost-Benefit Analysis: Conduct cost-benefit analyses to demonstrate the value of AI automation implementations and ROI for clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and automation technologies, evaluating their applicability to client projects.

What background fits best

  • University / Master’s degree in statistics, mathematics, data or computer science, PHD is a plus
  • 3+ years work experience in data scientist (university or business)
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python or R
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning techniques and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Knowledge of RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere) and NLP frameworks.
  • Familiarity with computer vision technologies and frameworks.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Expert knowledge of statistical concepts and techniques
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to interact with clients and convey complex concepts effectively.
  • Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Fluent in German is important, international experience is a plus
