For a project assignment with our well-known international customer in the high-tech sector in Manching we are looking for you as a Hardware / Software Assurance Engineer (f/m/d).

IHRE AUFGABE - RESPONSIBILITIES

- Discuss with the Airworthiness / Certification Authorities the Certification Baseline and the level of involvement of the authorities

- Monitoring Supplier Development: Ensure that the supplier performs its activities in compliance with RTCA/DO-254 and RTCA/DO-178, applicable CRIs or guidelines, control of processes with traceability, validation and verification, supervision of Requirements Based Engineering, Control over SEU, (Single Event Upset) and Robustness of the equipment assigned, etc.

- Preparation of Reviews with Airworthiness / Certification Authorities

- Define the required documentation that Airbus shall receive at each milestone of the Hardware and Software development according to RTCA/DO-254 and RTCA/DO-178

- Report that the compliance can be demonstrated as being consistent with the criticality/safety requirements and the program development schedule

IHR PROFIL - QUALIFICATIONS

-  Studium des Ingenieurwesens oder der Luft- und Raumfahrt oder vergleichbar

- Umfassende Erfahrung im Bereich Configuration Management, Elektrotechnik/Elektronik

- Erfahrung in der SW- und/oder HW-Entwicklung ist erforderlich

- Kenntnisse über Standards wie RTCA/DO-254 und RTCA/DO-178 sind erforderlich

- Erfahrung mit komplexen elektronischen Hardwaregeräten, z. g. mikrocodierte Komponenten wie ASICs, PLDs und komplexe COTS-Komponenten sind erforderlich

- Sprachkenntnisse: Deutsch verhandlungssicher, Englisch verhandlungssicher

- Studies in engineering or aerospace or comparable

- Extensive experience in configuration management, electrical engineering/electronics

- Experience in SW and/or HW development is required

- Knowledge of standards such as RTCA/DO-254 and RTCA/DO-178 is required

- Experience with complex electronic hardware devices, e.g. G. microcoded components such as ASICs, PLDs and complex COTS components are required

- Language skills: German business fluent, English business fluent
