The Liechtenstein Group is owned by the Foundation Prince Liechtenstein and manages a portfolio of companies, operating globally in the sectors of Agriculture & Food, Forestry, Renewable Energy and Real Estate.

Our globally oriented investment platform, based in the heart of Vienna, invests in next generation technologies and innovative businesses in the above-mentioned sectors. Their goal is to drive forward the energy transition, operate sustainable agriculture and forestry, and produce high-quality food as well as the sustainable use of real estate.

We are hiring 2-4 interns each year to actively support our internationally experienced team in conducting new investments and managing the existing portfolio companies.

 

Off-Cycle Investment Analyst 2025 (m/f/x)

An internship in our team provides deep insights into all our activities and guarantees full involvement. It is designed for Bachelor or Master graduates who want to gain practical experience before continuing their education or starting their full-time career. 

 

Carry out tasks that matter

  • Active participation in all aspects of transaction management (deal screening, structuring and execution jointly with members of our team)
  • Development of financial models incl. company valuations and buy-out analyses
  • Preparation of transaction documents (e.g. investment proposals to the Investment Committee)
  • Various research activities, e.g. in conjunction with (commercial) due diligence
  • Support of the ongoing management of portfolio companies, e.g. strategic projects and reporting activities
  • Support in the development of investment strategies in our verticals

 

Qualifications and qualities we appreciate

  • Sound business knowledge (completed bachelor or master in business administration, finance, economics or similar)
  • 2-3 relevant prior internships in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, consulting or a related field
  • Advanced knowledge of and practical experience with business valuation, financial modelling and accounting
  • Very good MS Office skills (especially Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Entrepreneurial and analytical thinking, investor mindset
  • Curious, positive, pro-active and open-minded team players
  • Fluency in English is a prerequisite, German skills are an advantage
  • Strong interest in sustainability topics and impact investments

We strive to ensure that our interns overlap. On the one hand for the handover of their projects and an ideal onboarding, on the other hand to expand their network.
