Sector Advisory sits at the heart of the client offer for clients. The team in Energy, Utilities & Infrastructure covers the respective client base from an advisory perspective with industry specific insight and advice. We support our coverage and capital markets colleagues in the origination and execution of mandates and are responsible for the industry specific M&A offer.

What you’ll be doing

- Company and market research
- Drafting of marketing / pitch presentations
- Performance of company valuations
- Preparation of marketing materials for Capital market mandates (ECM/M&A etc.)
- Handling of investor communication in sell-sides
- Due Diligence, dataroom and overall project management in M&A buy- and sell-sides
- Respective interaction and communication with other advisors of our clients (e.g. legal, tax etc)
- Client management in M&A process preparations and actual execution
- Working with coverage to originate transactions

What you’ll need to succeed

- Minimum of 2 years practical M&A execution experience in an investment bank, M&A boutique, or equivalent
- Experience in Capital market and/or M&A sell-side projects including drafting of Info Memoranda, Management 
- Presentations, due diligence preparation and organization as well as Q&A management
- Profound practical valuation expertise including comparable company and transaction analysis as well as DCF
- Advanced excel modeling skills with respect to operating models
- Experienced in pitching for and originating M&A mandates on the basis of precise and thoroughly
  investigated company and market analysis
- Very familiar with all M&A relevant databases applications such as e.g. Thomson One, Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Mergermarket
- Strong analytical skills and quick grasp
- Strong oral and written skills in both German and English
- Team player who is used to work and operate within different team compositions
- Self-starter who operates self-dependently under respective guidance
- Used to assume own responsibilities and aware of respective accountability
- Strong work ethic and commitment towards client and project work imposed deadlines
- The position requires the special knowledge and reliability according to § 87 (2) WpHG (2. FiMANoG) and § 1a and § 6 WpHGMaAnzV.
