Your responsibilities
- Set, maintain, communicate and enforce the standards of managing Market and Credit risk across all Uniper Functions and geographies via the Uniper Market and Credit Risk Policy
- Set, maintain, communicate and enforce the standards for risk managing trading with algorithms, Country Risk as well as selected aspects of Financial Regulations (e.g. EMIR, MiFID) across all Uniper Functions and geographies via the respective policies and procedures
- Develop the principles for and execute the internal governance for Uniper’s Financial Regulation limits and thresholds
- Coordinate the Uniper Group’s annual risk capital allocation process considering the Groups financial situation
- Maintain Uniper’s Risk Strategy which outlines how the group manages different risk categories
- Effectively operate the key risk controls (e.g. Limit monitoring, Market Conformity check), process Policy breaches and act as ICS coordinator for the Risk Management function ensuring the right risk controls are consistently operated across geographies
- Maintain central evidence about the implementation of new trading products cross Risk teams; ensure compliance with risk policy requirements regarding new business activities
Your profile
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Risk Management, Finance or similar education
- Working experiences in the above area of responsibilities desirable
- Interest in working in the second line of defense; interest and ability to defend and continuously improve & reinforce Risk Policy & Control principles
- Drive and contribute to a strong risk culture through reasonable policy principles
- Basic knowledge of Financial Regulation (esp. EMIR, MiFiD, MaRisk) and Risk Governance requirements desirable
- Good communication skills across all hierarchical levels
- Ability to present and talk in front of audience
- Organizational and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across functions and geographies and coordinate them to achieve common goals to deadlines
- Business fluency in written and spoken English
