Welcome to the team: Network Security Engineer (SASE) (m/f/diverse)
Your tasks
- Providing 1st/2nd level support and administration of various network security technologies;
- Handling Requests, Incidents, Changes and Problems in our production SASE environment;
- Evaluating and implementing Firewall Requests, Incidents, Changes and Problems;
- Communicating and collaborating with various internal departments as well as external vendors;
- Supporting various network security projects;
- Participating in weekends, public holiday and on-call support when required;
- Contributing as an effective team player in an Agile team;
- Performing other tasks related to the job.
Your profile
- Good knowledge of general network concepts – routing & switching;
- Experience with Firewall, IDS/IPS and Malware protection technologies by vendors such as Cisco, FortiNet and Palo Alto;
- Experience with Site-to-Site and Remote Access VPNs;
- Experience with SASE environments (preferably Prisma SASE by Palo Alto)
- Good knowledge of network management technologies like SNMP, SYSLOG, IP SLA, NetFlow;
- Experience with Cloud environments (GCP and Microsoft Azure);
- Experience with Proxy would be a plus;
- University degree in Computer Networking, IT or relevant;
- Fluency in English.
