Your central role:

Management and further development of the pricing of commercial lines of ERGO companies worldwide

You will contribute your experience to our team and develop creative and innovative strategies to improve the local pricing standards of individual companies. You offer services for individual companies, e.g. in the form of customised pricing or large individual risks. Your expertise and know-how is in demand across countries: you support the optimisation and further development of global methods as well as national/international pricing tools for ERGO companies. In doing so, you will ensure best practices. You will pay attention to the governance requirements during profit testing and approval of pricing and ensure the profit targets in the commercial lines. You will be responsible for evaluating and analysing the portfolio, tariffs and methodologies. You will also provide support in the M&A area by accompanying the planned initiatives.

Your profile:

Experienced mathematician with expertise in calculating premiums and tariffs

You have a degree in (business) mathematics or a mathematics-related degree programme with several years of experience in property/casualty and ideally have (started) training as an actuary (DAV). You have several years of sound practical experience in calculating premiums and rates for commercial lines of business, in particular property, liability and motor. Alternatively, you have several years of professional experience in reserving, retail pricing or internal risk modelling. You are familiar with state-of-the-art pricing and data mining tools (e.g. Emblem, Radar, ResQ, R, SAS). You are a team player with strong intercultural and social skills. You are able to communicate clearly and convincingly with a wide range of stakeholders. You are willing to occasionally work on international projects. Your working style is conceptual and analytical. Your good to very good written and spoken English rounds off your profile. German is a plus but not a must.
