Your responsibilities
- Project management with focus on structural engineering, stability/structural design in the context of conceptual design, planning, dimensioning and execution of power plant projects (conversion and maintenance projects as well as new construction, reinforced concrete construction, reinforced concrete composite construction, steel construction, foundation structures) mainly for conventional power plants in the national working environment
- Preparation of technical specifications in the tendering process
- Preparation of structural calculations and coordination of the technical parties involved
- Communication with authorities, test engineers, partner companies, power plants, other in-house specialist departments and project staff
- Analysis of technical offers including participation in contract award negotiations, monitoring of planning content and results
- Specialist project management across all project phases with responsibility for quality, deadlines and budgets as well as coordination of specialist departments working on the project
- Participation in interdisciplinary teams in the implementation of feasibility/economic and concept studies to investigate the optimization/replacement of existing systems
- Carrying out surveys, damage assessments with the associated definition of repair solutions and technical advice for our power plants and other specialist departments
Your profile
- Completed studies in the field of civil engineering, ideally with a specialization in structural engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in structural design of general building construction, experience in power plant construction is an advantage
- Experience with FEM programs and common structural design software, experience in construction management desirable
- Knowledge in the areas of occupational safety
- Confident handling of VOB and HOAI
- Strong teamwork skills and a structured, analytical, cost and customer-oriented way of working
- Willingness to travel on business
- Very good knowledge of German and English
