Senior Analyst Investment Markets (m/f/d)

Permanent employee, Full-time · EIT Health e.V., CO/ES, CO/FR

Your responsibilities
About the Position

Striving to become financially sustainable, EIT Health seeks to build continuous revenue streams to sustain our longterm vision and impact. We have created within the Accelerator a team dedicated to Access to Finance, driven by the mission of ensuring start-ups in the healthcare sector have unfettered access to essential funding opportunities. A deep and updated comprehension of the investment market trends in Life Sciences, of the latest business development and unmet needs of the Life Science & Health Care industries will bring a tremendous value to the Access to Finance team in its daily activities.
The identification of promising start-ups which could fit with the areas of interest of the EIT Health partners (VCs, Corporate VCs, other EU bodies such as EIB, etc.) will be also facilitated by the ad-hoc analysis that you will lead in a “pull” model. As an Investment Market Senior Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Access to Finance team, also responsible for providing comprehensive insights to facilitate the decision-making about the selection of the start-up applicants to the Access to Finance offering.
When a start-up is ready to be promoted to the Access to Finance unit’s network of investors, you will contribute to the preparation of the list of the most relevant investors thanks to a clear understanding of their investment thesis and its granular and nuanced evolution over time. As with all of the members of the Access to Finance team, you will have the opportunity to identify and connect with new relevant investors to add to the pool of VCs, Corporate VCs, privileged partners in events such as conventions, jury panels, incubators, etc. and other networking activities. The Investment Market Senior Analyst will report to the Head of Access to Finance. This is a permanent position and is based in our Central Office in Munich. However, remotely working from Germany, Spain or France is also possible.
